Founding and Mananing Partner of ALIENTA Renovables
Marga is Founding Partner and member of the executive team of ALIENTA
Renovables. She has 20 years of experience in the renewable energy sector.
Before founding ALIENTA, she worked as a Senior Advisor for
the financial advisory and investment services firms EDIBEL Capital Energy and
RS Corporate Finance, collaborating in several operations and in the design of
investment vehicles for international investors.
Previously, Marga has held senior positions in leading companies
in the renewable sector: she worked as CFO in Corporación Eólica CESA and in
Foresta Capital, as part of the Management Committee and was responsible for International Energy Business Development in ENCE, developing
renewable energy projects in all their phases, from identification, analysis and
valuation, to financing, construction and management.
She began her professional career in Arthur Andersen (today Deloitte), where she worked for eight years. Thanks to her extensive professional experience, Marga has participated in various M&A transactions, including the sale of CESA to Acciona (700MW of operative wind farms and a portfolio of 1GW) and the acquisition and integration process of Terranova, a wind power development company, for 350 million Euros. She has been responsible for the financing of c. 1GW of renewable assets for more than € 1billion.
Marga has a degree in Economics and Business Administration from
the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid.
